## Description

The Event Post plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized post deletion via the EventPostDeleteChild admin-post action in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.1, due to a missing capability check and missing post type validation in the delete_child_admin_post and _delete_child functions, which only verify a nonce before permanently deleting the supplied child_id. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to permanently delete arbitrary posts, pages and other content on the site when the child events feature is enabled.
