## Description

The Event Post plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.1 due to a missing capability check in the save_postdata and inline_save functions, which only verified a nonce before saving event metadata for the supplied post_ID. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to modify event metadata such as dates and locations on posts they are not allowed to edit.
