## Description

The Event Post plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data via the EventPostAddChild AJAX and admin-post actions in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.1, due to a missing capability check and missing nonce verification in the add_child_ajax function, and a missing edit_post check in the add_child_admin_post function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to create published child events attached to arbitrary posts they are not allowed to edit when the child events feature is enabled.
