## Description

The Action Network for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'container_element', 'item_element' and 'link_format' attributes of the actionnetwork_list and actionnetwork_calendar shortcodes in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.5, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The element attributes are only passed through sanitize_key(), which accepts 'script'. The link format is inserted unescaped into an href attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that execute whenever a user opens an injected page.
