## Description

The Academy LMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data via the 'academy/add_course_review' AJAX action in versions 3.3.10 up to, and including, 4.0.3. This is due to the action not checking that the target post is a course with reviews enabled, that the user is enrolled in and has completed the course, or that the rating is between 1 and 5. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to post auto-approved reviews with out-of-range rating values on any course without having enrolled in it, and so manipulate the course's displayed rating.

Also published later by wordfence as CVE-2026-104915.
