## Description

The Books Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the book author ('wbg_author') meta field in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.4 due to insufficient output escaping when the value is displayed in the admin Books list table. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above, who can edit books, to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever an administrator views the Books list in the dashboard.
