## Description

The SimpLy Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.4 due to insufficient capability checks when deleting tags from the shared tag storage via the 'update_tags_list' AJAX action and the media tags REST delete handler. The AJAX path only required the edit_posts capability and the REST path only required upload_files. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to remove tags from the site-wide shared tag list used by other users.
