## Description

The Insights from Google PageSpeed plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized scan triggering via the 'reports_update' admin action and the 'gpi_check_now' request parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.8. The plugin's admin action handler runs on admin_init and checks no capability, and its 'reports_update' action also checks no nonce. The scan loopback handler, which runs on every request, only checks that a pending-scan option is set to a constant true value and does not verify a secret token. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to start a forced recheck of every monitored page whenever they want, which uses up the site's Google PageSpeed API quota and server resources.
