## Description

The MapSVG plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads via the CSV import preflight REST endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 8.16.1 due to missing file type validation and the use of the user-supplied filename when saving uploaded files to the uploads directory. The endpoint only required the edit_posts capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files such as PHP scripts to the affected site's server, which may make remote code execution possible.
