## Description

The Burst Statistics plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access to data via share links in versions 3.4.2 through 3.7.2. The burst/v1 data REST callbacks chose the data type to run from the 'type' request parameter, which a query-string value can override, while the share-link permission check was made against the route that was requested. This makes it possible for anyone holding a valid share link, who is signed in as the limited share-link viewer account, to pass the check for a shared tab or report block and read a different statistics data type or datatable that the link does not include.
