## Description

The User Profile Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a CAPTCHA bypass on the default WordPress comments form in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.4. This is due to the reCAPTCHA and Turnstile checks in wppb_verify_recaptcha_default_wp_comments() and wppb_verify_turnstile_default_wp_comments() running only when the HTML comment form is submitted. When CAPTCHA protection for comments is enabled, this makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to post comments through the REST API or XML-RPC without solving the CAPTCHA. Unauthenticated attackers can do the same on sites that allow anonymous API comments.
