## Description

The Speed Optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data via the enable-option and disable-option REST routes in all versions up to, and including, 7.8.4, due to missing option key validation and a missing manage_network_options capability check in those handlers, which also trusted a client-supplied is_multisite flag. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with site administrator-level access on a multisite network to change network-wide plugin settings, such as the per-site feature permissions and network defaults, and to set arbitrary site or network options outside the plugin's own settings to 1. The network-level impact only applies to multisite installations.
