 "description": "The VikBooking Hotel Booking Engine & PMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'vbo_active_tab', 'vbo_lang', 'goto' and 'status' parameters in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.16, due to insufficient output escaping in the admin booking details, translations, choose-busy and bookings list views. The values are only passed through sanitize_text_field(), which keeps quote characters, and are then printed into inline JavaScript strings and href attributes. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick an administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.",
