## Description

The forumAttachments for bbPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference via the attachment delete/detach action in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.4, due to the handler only verifying that the current user authored the bbPress topic or reply supplied in 'bbp_id', without checking that the object supplied in 'att_id' is an attachment belonging to that post or to the user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above who have authored a topic or reply to delete arbitrary media library attachments, or reset the parent of arbitrary posts, when the site allows authors to delete or detach their own attachments.
