## Description

The SlimStat Analytics plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized loss of data in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.0, because the settings page runs its 'truncate-table' and 'reset-settings' actions before it checks the manage_options capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers who have been given access to the SlimStat settings page, which an administrator can grant to lower-privileged roles or users, to delete all collected analytics data and reset the plugin's settings.
