## Description

The WP Customer Area plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the user display name in all versions up to, and including, 8.4.0, due to insufficient output escaping. The display name is placed inside HTML title attributes (and link text) in the content owner link templates and the content authors widget without escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to set a display name containing double quotes and event-handler attributes that will execute arbitrary web scripts whenever a user, including an administrator, accesses a Customer Area page that shows the attacker as the owner or author of private content.
