## Description

The PowerPack Addons for Elementor (Free Widgets, Extensions and Templates) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the link URL settings of the Link Effects and Info Box widgets in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.2, due to the widgets' editor templates placing the URL into href attributes without protocol sanitization, which allows javascript: URLs, and building the link's class from unvalidated settings, which lets the attacker exempt the link from the Elementor editor's suppression of link clicks in its preview. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when another user, such as an administrator, opens the content in the Elementor editor and clicks the link in the preview.
