## Description

The WP Customer Area plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'page-num' pagination parameter and the public 'cuar_year' archive query variable of the private files and private pages listings in all versions up to, and including, 8.4.1, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The raw page number is echoed into the listing page counter and the raw year is placed into the listing subtitle, which the templates print without escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user, such as a logged-in customer, into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
