## Description

The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.16. The metabox save routine only checked that a submitted key was a declared field and ignored every permission setting. The user profile and taxonomy save routines checked only field-level permissions and ignored permissions set on the profile, term box or section. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above (on their own user profile) or contributor-level access and above (on posts they can edit), to save values to fields that the site restricts to higher-privileged users. Exploitation requires that the site defines such fields with permission restrictions.
