## Description

The Events Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file copy and deletion via the REST API media handling (the event or location 'featured_image' input and the /media endpoint) in versions 7.3.3 up to, and including, 7.4.12. This is due to the plugin accepting a request-supplied '_files_file' array with an arbitrary 'tmp_name', not checking it with is_uploaded_file(), and passing it to media_handle_upload() with a custom 'action' override. That override makes WordPress copy the named file into the uploads folder and then unlink the original instead of moving a real upload. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to copy readable server files that pass WordPress' file type check (such as plain-text logs or environment files) into the publicly accessible uploads folder, and to delete the originals.
