## Description

The PeproDev Ultimate Profile Solutions plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data via the 'read-notif' action of the front-end profile AJAX handler in all versions up to, and including, 8.3.0, due to a missing authorization check. For any submitted notification id, the handler creates a recipient row in the notification list after checking only that the notification exists, and that row is what grants a user access to a private notification. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to read private notifications that administrators sent to other users.
