Description

The Responsive Lightbox & Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the title attribute of lightboxed image links in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.9. This is due to insufficient sanitization of the title attributes the plugin rewrites on links it opens in a lightbox, which recognised only one form of the attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute when a user opens the affected lightbox.
