Description
The Directorist plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via listing tag names in versions 8.0 up to, and including, 8.10. This is due to insufficient validation of tag names submitted with a listing, which can carry markup as HTML entities, and to the taxonomy dropdowns rendering term names as HTML. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above who can submit listings (or unauthenticated attackers when guest submission is enabled) to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user views or opens a tag dropdown on the listing submission or edit form.
