Description

The Element Pack Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via bdt-* and data-bdt-* UIkit component attributes in all versions up to, and including, 8.8.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Users without unfiltered_html could save these attributes (such as an SVG source using a javascript: or data: URL, or lightbox template and attributes options) in posts, excerpts or Elementor data, and the bundled UIkit script would boot the components and execute the injected content. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an affected page that loads the plugin's UIkit bundle.
