Description
The Tabs Widget for Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the nested Page Builder layouts of the Tabs widget in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization: each tab's nested layout data was saved after only being JSON-decoded, without running the nested widgets' own sanitization or Page Builder's style sanitization. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above, who can edit Page Builder layouts but lack the unfiltered_html capability, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an affected page.
