Description
The WPAdverts – Classifieds Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via advert fields such as Location, Contact Person and Phone Number in versions 2.0.0 up to, and including, 2.3.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The front-end advert submission form, which accepts submissions from visitors without an account by default, stored these values without removing HTML. The Classifieds List block, used on the plugin's default Classifieds page where it shows each advert's location, printed them without escaping, as did the Single Data Table and Single Value blocks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses a page listing or displaying the affected advert.
