Description

The Post Kinds plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the citation author fields of the Response Properties metabox in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.3, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Author names are saved with sanitize_text_field(), which keeps quotes, and are then placed unescaped into HTML attributes of the generated h-card markup. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
