Description

The Element Pack Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Image Compare widget's Before and After labels and the Image Accordion widget's trigger event setting in versions 8.5.2 through 8.8.7, due to insufficient output escaping in the widgets' Elementor editor preview templates. The settings are JSON-encoded and printed without escaping inside a single-quoted data-settings attribute, so a single quote in a value closes the attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute whenever another user, such as an administrator, opens the affected page in the Elementor editor.
