Description
The AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Shortcode Execution via the author Biographical Info field in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.18. This is due to the AMP archive templates passing the archive description, which on author archives is the author's biographical info, to do_shortcode() without checking whether the author is allowed to run shortcodes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes by putting them in their own profile biography, which runs whenever the AMP version of their author archive is viewed.
