Description

The SureCart plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the sc-icon web component's 'src' attribute in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.4. This is due to the plugin adding its sc-* web components and their attributes to every wp_kses context, including comments and user biographies, and to the sc-icon component inserting the SVG fetched from the 'src' URL into the page without sanitization. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers (via comments, once a comment is approved and shown on a page that loads SureCart components) and authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above (via post content) to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
