Description
The VikRentCar Car Rental Management System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'priceid', 'place', 'returnplace', 'carid', 'days', 'pickup', 'release' and 'optid' parameters of the front-end login/register view, and the 'returnplace' parameter of the price selection view, in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.7, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The request values are read as text that still allows quotes, and are printed into hidden form field attributes without escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
