Description
The MDTF – Meta Data and Taxonomies Filter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary post meta modification via the 'page_meta_data_filter' post save data in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.9, due to the save_post handler writing every key of the submitted page_meta_data_filter array, with its unsanitized value, as post meta. The keys are not restricted to the plugin's own 'medafi_' prefix. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to set arbitrary post meta, including protected underscore-prefixed keys, on posts they can edit.
