Description
The WP User Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a bypass of its "Prevent site access to visitors" protection via the request URI in versions 2.9.8 up to, and including, 2.9.24. This is due to the wpum_is_rest_api_request() function treating any request whose URI contains the REST API prefix (such as '/wp-json/') anywhere, including in the query string, as a REST API request, which causes wpum_prevent_entire_site() to skip its login redirect. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view front-end content on sites set up to be private when the site access restriction is enabled.
