Description
The Prime Slider plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via comment content and other user-authored content in versions 4.7.0 up to, and including, 4.7.2. The cause is a flawed regular-expression fallback in the plugin's content sanitizer (Content_Guard), which removes UIkit 'bdt-' component attributes after WordPress's kses filtering. The fallback also matched 'bdt-' text inside quoted attribute values and removed it along with a quote character. The remaining markup then turned into new, live attributes such as event handlers. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
