Description

The Dynamic Visibility for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Query Control (ooo_query) used in element visibility settings in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.6, due to insufficient output escaping. The control template prints option labels without escaping, select2 markup escaping is turned off, and the quick-edit link is built by joining the stored control value into HTML. For some query types, such as Post Field and User Field, the option label is the stored control value itself. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts into an element's visibility settings. The scripts run when another user, such as an administrator, edits that page in the Elementor editor.
