Description
The UiChemy plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the slot link settings (link URL and custom attributes) of the Composer widget and block in versions 5.1.0 up to, and including, 5.3.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping: the link URL is written into the anchor's href without checking its protocol, so javascript: URLs are accepted, and the names of custom link attributes are not validated, so event-handler attributes such as onclick can be added to the rendered link. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page or interacts with the injected link.
