Description

The Kadence Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Count Up block's prefix, suffix, separator and decimal settings in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.0 due to insufficient output escaping in the front-end count-up script, which inserted these values into a screen-reader element via innerHTML and passed them unescaped to the CountUp library. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
