Description
The Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data in all versions up to, and including, 3.17.0 due to a missing capability check on the 'context' parameter of the episodes REST collection endpoint. Only a read-permission check was applied per episode, so context=edit was honored for any caller. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve edit-context fields, such as raw content of password-protected episodes, that should only be available to users who can edit them.
