Description
The SureCart plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal via the REST API 'id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.6. This is due to upstream API endpoints being built from request 'id' values without rejecting dot segments or query delimiters, and to body or query values named 'id' taking precedence over the route's URL capture. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers, using publicly accessible routes such as checkout retrieval and update, to send the plugin's store-authenticated platform requests to other upstream endpoints, for example to mark a checkout as manually paid or read other platform objects.
