Description

The GDPR Compliance & Cookie Consent plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Input field classes' and 'Submit button classes' settings of the data access form in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.2, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions and above to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute whenever a user visits a page that shows the data access form (the [stm-gpdr-data-access] shortcode or the GDPR Compliance widget). This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
