Description
The User Profiles, Groups and Communities plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.0.4 due to deserialization of user-controlled profile field meta values with maybe_unserialize() when profiles and custom fields are rendered. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to store a serialized string in their profile fields and inject a PHP object when the profile is displayed. No known POP chain is present in the plugin itself, but if one is available via another installed plugin or theme, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
