Description

The Addon Elements for Elementor (formerly Elementor Addon Elements) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-Based Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Particles and Animated Gradient section/column/container extensions in all versions up to, and including, 1.14.5 due to the plugin's JavaScript concatenating the element id (Particles) and the gradient angle and color values (Animated Gradient, in the editor) into HTML strings passed to jQuery for insertion. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page or opens it in the Elementor editor.
