Description

The Nexter Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Smooth Scroll and Post Image block attributes in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.7, due to insufficient output escaping. JSON-encoded attribute values, such as the Smooth Scroll easing settings and the Post Image block ID, were written into single-quoted HTML data attributes without encoding quotes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
