Description
The Quiz and Survey Master (QSM) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the question 'featureImageSrc' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 11.2.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The value was only passed through sanitize_text_field(), which does not remove quote characters, and was then concatenated into HTML in the admin question editor. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever a user, such as an administrator, opens the affected question in the quiz editor.
