Description
The Gallery by Visual Portfolio plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure via the Custom Query posts source of its gallery blocks in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.2, due to saved custom queries being run with whatever post_status they name, without limiting them to statuses the user may read. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to save a gallery whose custom query asks for draft or private posts and view other authors' unpublished and private posts when the post is previewed or published.
