Description

The Waitlist Woocommerce ( Back in stock notifier ) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'type' attribute of the plugin's [xoo_wl_form] shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.1, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The attribute value is added to the waitlist button container's class attribute without escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
