Description

The Image Slider Block plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the slider block's slide data (title, subtitle, button text and button URLs stored in the data-images attribute) in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The front-end script rendered these fields as raw HTML and used the button URLs as link targets without checking their scheme, and the server returned the saved markup unfiltered. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts or javascript: links in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
