Description
The Site Reviews plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'text' and 'link_url' attributes of the SureCart Product Rating block in versions 8.0.0 up to, and including, 8.3.5, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The text attribute is JSON-encoded into a single-quoted data-wp-context HTML attribute without escaping single quotes, and the link URL is escaped only with esc_attr(), which lets javascript: URLs through. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, on sites where the SureCart integration is enabled.
