Description

The Kitgenix CAPTCHA for Cloudflare Turnstile plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a CAPTCHA Bypass via the WordPress login form in all versions from 1.1.0 up to, and including, 2.1.4. This is due to the login check deciding whether a request is a wp-login.php login by comparing the raw REQUEST_URI path with the path of wp_login_url(), and skipping Turnstile verification when the two differ and no Turnstile fields are posted. Web servers still run wp-login.php for non-canonical forms of the path such as '//wp-login.php', '/./wp-login.php' or '/wp%2Dlogin.php', but those forms do not match the comparison. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to submit login attempts without solving the Turnstile challenge, so they can run automated brute-force and credential-stuffing attacks that the CAPTCHA is meant to block.
