Description
The Discounts & Promotions Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.3 due to a missing capability check on several AJAX actions (save_urgent_sale_page, save_sale_banner_status, save_sale_emails_status, and wcdp_update_sales_email_settings), which only verify a nonce that is exposed to lower-privileged users on admin pages they can load. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to change store-wide settings such as the urgent sale page, sale categories and expiry, sale banner status, sales email status, email frequency and times, and the promotional discount.
